Start with what was actually recorded. Only move to an explanation when another channel or video supports it.

The best analysis is usually small: here is where the laps changed, here is what the logger recorded, and here is one thing worth trying next time.

What to look at

  • Partial, traffic, or GPS-error laps
  • Gains immediately lost afterward
  • Different cars, tires, weather, or fuel
  • Claims unsupported by recorded channels
