The main idea

The fastest individual corner inside a complex may create the slowest sequence. Optimize the path and speed that deliver the best time at the end of the linked section.

What to look at

  • Where preparation for the sequence begins
  • Position between corners
  • Throttle or acceleration interruptions
  • Delta and speed after the final corner

Try this

  • Set boundaries around the whole complex
  • Find where the laps first diverge
  • Compare the middle positioning and speed
  • Judge the technique at the final exit
  • Confirm the gain remains down the next straight

Keep in mind

Do not splice each best corner into a coaching instruction without checking whether those techniques can coexist in one physical lap.

Which corner matters most?

Usually the one controlling the longest or most important acceleration zone, but the data should confirm where gains persist.

Can I use optimal-lap sectors?

Yes as an opportunity estimate, but adjacent best sectors may be incompatible and may never have occurred together.
